Job Title: Client Service Representative – Banking

Purpose Statement:
As a Client Service Representative, your role is pivotal in welcoming clients, coordinating branch flow, and ensuring efficient queue functioning. You’ll excel in providing outstanding client service, assisting clients at ATMs, and facilitating transactions on various self-service channels. Through this, you’ll gain the knowledge, skills, and experience needed for service consulting.

Experience:
Minimum:

  • No prior experience required, but individuals must hold a Grade 12 National Certificate.

Ideal:

  • Some client service experience within a retail, financial, or banking environment.

Qualifications:
Minimum:

  • Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational.

Ideal or Preferred:

  • Knowledge of bank branch environments.
  • Familiarity with Capitec Bank products and internal business processes.

Knowledge:
Minimum:

  • Basic calculations.
  • How to engage with people.
  • Clarity and understanding of own aspirations, being ambitious and keen to learn.

Ideal:

  • Knowledge of bank branch environments.
  • Understanding of Capitec Bank products and internal business processes.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook).
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.

Conditions of Employment:

  • Clear criminal and credit record.
  • Must have fingerprints detectable/recognizable on Capitec Bank’s internal electronic banking system.
