Position Overview:
We are currently seeking motivated and hardworking individuals to join our team as EPWP General Workers in various sections. This position is suitable for individuals with a strong work ethic, physical fitness, and a commitment to contributing to the improvement of our community.
Requirements:
- Grade 10 (Grade 12 is an added advantage).
- Valid Driver’s License (added advantage).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (bilingual preferred).
- Reside within the Midvaal area (preference will be given).
- Ability to follow and execute given instructions.
- Good physical health with basic skills for manual labor.
- 01 year relevant experience in general work within an Engineering and/or Roads Section in Local Government (added advantage).
Duties:
- Loading and off-loading materials and equipment with protected hands and safety tools.
- Placing traffic signs to warn about workers near municipal roads during excavation.
- Cleaning in and around the working area with manual labor equipment to ensure a clean environment.
- Performing any labor-related work as requested by the supervisor or superintendent.
- Executing all legal instructions from the supervisor to ensure productivity.
- Adhering to any other related Ad Hoc tasks and duties as required.
Salary:
R140.85 per day (EPWP General Worker daily rate) – Fixed-term contract.
