Position: ATM Service Representative

Purpose Statement:
Join our team as an ATM Service Representative and play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our valued customers. As an integral part of our operations, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting ATM machines, handling customer inquiries, and promoting our banking products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

-Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on ATM machines.

Perform cash replenishment, reconcile transactions, and ensure cash accuracy.


  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ATM machines.
  • Coordinate with vendors and technicians for repairs and upgrades.
  • Monitor and respond promptly to ATM alarms and alerts.
  • Educate customers on ATM usage and troubleshoot basic issues.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly.
  • Recommend and promote banking products and services.
  • Provide accurate information regarding account balances and transaction history.
  • Maintain accurate records of ATM transactions, deposits, and withdrawals.
  • Prepare reports on ATM performance, transaction volumes, and customer feedback.
  • Analyze reports to identify opportunities for improvement and implement necessary changes.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum: Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational.
  • Ideal: Some client service experience within a retail/financial/banking environment.
  • Basic knowledge of calculations and engaging with people.
  • Familiarity with ATM machines, including hardware and software components.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for technical issues.
  • Proficiency in interpreting error codes and ATM system logs.
  • Experience with cash handling and counting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in banking or ATM maintenance.
  • Basic computer skills.
