Job Description:
Are you passionate about creating delicious food in a fast-paced environment? KFC Redruth is looking for a dedicated Cook to join our Food Service Team. As a Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing and cooking KFC products in accordance with our standard operating procedures, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook KFC products using approved CSL procedures as instructed by the manager.
- Portion ingredients and cooked products according to approved CSL procedures.
- Maintain proper holding periods and temperatures for raw and cooked products using appropriate equipment.
- Follow standard procedures for cleaning and sanitizing food preparation and storage areas, equipment, and utensils.
- Capture product preparation information and monitor product quality, including checking and acting upon expiration dates and times.
- Comply with all rules, regulations, and working practices, including those related to grievances.
- Adhere to YUM culture principles.
- Act as a customer maniac by achieving CER standards and delivering 100% CHAMPs with a positive attitude on every shift.
- Perform other duties as requested by the Restaurant General Manager, Assistant Restaurant Manager, or shift supervisor.
Requirements:
- Matric qualification.
- Proficiency in English.
- Clear criminal record.
Preferences:
Meeting the following preferences would be advantageous:
- Previous experience as a Cook.
- Residing within 15km from the job location.
- Positive creditworthiness.
- TMRI minimum score.
- Star Training – FSTM Qualification.
