Dynamic Fluid Control, a prominent local manufacturer of valves with a diverse product portfolio serving mineral processing, power generation, water, and affluent markets, is currently seeking a qualified individual to fill the following position:

  • Finished Goods Intern X2
  • Finished Goods Administrator

Job Summary Statement:
The Finished Good Administrator is responsible for verifying and maintaining records of incoming and outgoing goods, preparing items for shipment, and assisting with various warehouse duties. This role involves assembling, addressing, stamping, and shipping merchandise or materials, as well as receiving, unpacking, verifying, and recording incoming goods, and arranging transportation as needed.

Key Performance Areas (Duties & Responsibilities):

  • Assist with the implementation of all transformation processes in the BU/Area of responsibility.
  • Receive and receipt incoming goods.
  • Assist with an effective HR support function.
  • Control stock levels and assist with stock takes.
  • Obtain and fulfill customer orders, deliver stock items, and address ordering inquiries.
  • Maintain files and compile records of supply transactions.
  • Manage warehousing and purchasing procedures, including inventory procedures and forms.
  • Maintain inventory files and monitor/order office supplies.
  • Establish and maintain a filing system for financial documents.
  • Prepare batches of delivery notes for data entry to the sales department.

Academic Qualifications:

  • B.Com in Accounting or equivalent.
  • National Diploma in Financial Management or related field.

Experience:

  • 3 years of related work experience within the manufacturing industry.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to plan delivery schedules and provide instructions to dispatching teams and drivers.
  • Conduct stock counts and cycle stock counts weekly to monthly, including internal adjustments.
  • Experience in direct communication with customers and suppliers.
  • Strong team player with problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet weekly and monthly targets.
  • Proficient in controlling and filing documentation.
  • Safeguarding delivery notes and submitting them daily for invoicing.
  • Identifying stock conversions.
