Overview
SASSA invites suitably qualified and motivated applicants to join as Administration Clerks (Level 05) at the Raisethorpe Local Office. The role provides comprehensive administrative support across transport, HR, provisioning, and general office services, ensuring compliance with SASSA policies, the PFMA, and related legislation.
Key Responsibilities
–Transport Services: Coordinate official transport requests, maintain logs and records, and optimise vehicle utilisation.
–HR Administration: Keep employee records up to date; process leave; assist with recruitment and onboarding documentation.
–General Administration: Manage correspondence, filing, telephone/email queries, and assist units with day-to-day admin tasks.
–Provisioning Services: Requisitions, ordering, receiving and issuing of stores/supplies in line with supply chain policies.
–Compliance: Apply PFMA and other prescripts to all financial/administrative transactions and documentation.
Minimum Requirements
–Senior Certificate (Matric).
–0β1 year relevant administrative experience.
–Computer literacy (MS Office).
–Valid driverβs licence (advantageous).
