Job Title: Hauler Driver (Fixed Term Contract)

Overview
AECI is looking for a skilled Hauler Driver to join our team on a fixed-term contract in Alrode, Gauteng. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting products using on-highway articulated haulers, ensuring timely and safe deliveries in accordance with company policies and road traffic regulations. This role is ideal for someone with experience in hauling, a valid EC1 driver’s license, and certification in Dangerous Goods handling.
Key Responsibilities
– Loading and Transporting: Safely load products into haulers and transport them to designated locations, including client premises and distributors.
– Receiving Instructions: Follow hauling instructions provided by the Logistics Manager and ensure all routes and schedules are adhered to.
– Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all road traffic regulations and company driving standards.
– Offloading and Documentation: Offload products at the correct destination and complete all required documentation, forwarding it to the Site Administrators.
– Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly flush tanks to prevent contamination and wash the exterior of the vehicle to maintain a clean and professional appearance.
Requirements
– Driver’s License: Valid Code EC1 with a Dangerous Goods Permit.
– Certifications: Hazchem Certificate and a valid Medical Certificate.
– Education: Matric (Grade 12).
– Experience: 1 to 3 years’ experience in hauling or a similar driving role.
