Overview
Afrigas, a local gas supply company, is seeking a dedicated and experienced LPG Tanker Driver to join our team in Strand, Western Cape. This full-time position requires a professional with a proven track record in LPG transportation.
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport, collect, and deliver Liquid LPG.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with the team and clients.
- Ensure accurate documentation and reporting.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and maintain the vehicle in optimal condition.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in LPG transportation.
- License: Valid Code 14 driver’s license, Dangerous Goods Permit (DGP), and Professional Driving Permit (PrDP) issued by a Department of Transport-approved training provider.
- Qualifications: Minimum of a matric certificate.
- Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills, attention to detail.
- Record: Clear criminal record.
- Additional: Familiarity with the Transport industry and Road Traffic Act.
