Job Title: Code 14 Truck Driver (Local and Long Distance)

Overview:
Afrilog Service, a well-established logistics company based in Clairwood, Durban, is seeking experienced and reliable Code 14 Truck Drivers for both Local and Long Distance divisions. We require 7 Local Drivers and 5 Long Distance Drivers who are dedicated, safety-conscious, and committed to providing efficient transportation services.

Local Division – Responsibilities:
-Operate Super link and Interlink trucks for local deliveries within Durban.
-Efficiently navigate and operate within all container depots and port operations in Durban.
-Drive 16 forward manual trucks safely and efficiently.
-Ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to traffic and safety regulations.
-Maintain accurate delivery records and necessary documentation.
Local Division – Requirements and Skills:
-Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Code 14 Driver with traceable references.
-Super link and Interlink driving experience is mandatory.
-Valid Code 14 Driver’s License with Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
-Police clearance certificate is required.
-Must be aged between 30 and 50 years.
-In-depth knowledge of all container depots in Durban and port operations.
-Excellent driving skills with the ability to operate 16 forward manual trucks.
-Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
Long Distance Division – Responsibilities:
-Operate Super link and Interlink trucks for long-distance deliveries, including routes to Johannesburg and surrounding areas.
-Efficiently load, secure, and tarp cargo for safe transportation.
-Practice fuel-efficient driving and maintain the truck in optimal condition.
-Navigate the N3 route with accuracy and ensure on-time delivery.
-Complete all delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records.
Long Distance Division – Requirements and Skills:
-Minimum of 7 years’ experience as a Long Distance Driver with traceable references.
-Super link and Interlink driving experience is mandatory.
-Valid Code 14 Driver’s License with Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
-Police clearance certificate is required.
-Must be aged between 30 and 50 years.
-Knowledge of the N3 route, Johannesburg, and surrounding areas.
-Experience in tarping cargo securely for long-distance travel.
-Fuel-efficient driving techniques.
-Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
