The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely transport of parts and goods to designated locations while adhering to all road safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
– Safe Vehicle Operation: Drive company vehicles to transport parts and goods to specified locations, following all traffic rules and speed limits.
– Timely Deliveries: Follow established routes and schedules to ensure on-time deliveries to various addresses.
– Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload goods, ensuring all items are handled with care to prevent damage.
– Order Accuracy: Verify the accuracy of orders before departure and upon delivery.
– Supplier Collections: Collect parts from suppliers as required.
– Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers, provide information about new products, and address any concerns or feedback.
– Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of company vehicles and report any maintenance issues or accidents.
– Record-Keeping: Complete all necessary logs and reports in a timely manner.
Requirements
– Education: Matric (essential).
– Driver’s License: Valid Code 10 driver’s license (essential).
– PDP License: Advantageous but not required.
– Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a similar role with proven driving skills.
