Overview
Anglo American Platinum is offering an Engineering Learnership for aspiring Fitters at Amandelbult Mine. This program provides practical training, equipping candidates with the skills and knowledge needed to become qualified Fitters. Preference will be given to applicants from host communities.
Responsibilities
-Assist in assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical equipment.
-Conduct inspections and perform repairs on hydraulic and mechanical systems.
-Ensure proper lubrication and alignment of components.
-Follow safety protocols and operational guidelines.
-Participate in theoretical and practical assessments.
Requirements & Skills
–Matric Certificate with Mathematics, Physical Science, and English (minimum 40% pass), or
–N2 or higher qualification with relevant Fitter trade subjects, or
–NCV Level 4 in Fitting with all subjects passed (minimum 40% pass).
-Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
-Ability to work in a team and follow instructions.
