Overview

Auto Pedigree, a prominent provider of high-quality, low-kilometer used vehicles with over 70 branches nationwide, is seeking a dedicated and responsible Driver/Cleaner for our Brits branch. We value integrity, reliability, and driving experience in our candidates.

Position Overview

The Driver/Cleaner is responsible for providing efficient transportation services in line with our standard operating procedures and legal requirements. This role involves delivering and collecting goods, documentation, vehicles, and customers safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors to high showroom standards.
  • Conduct vehicle quality control, including identifying and reporting expired licenses, service needs, and other non-conforming issues.
  • Refuel vehicles, check tire pressure, and maintain fluid levels.
  • Deliver vehicles to customers and other branches following company procedures.
  • Transport documentation between banks, suppliers, internal departments, and customers.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the premises.
  • Uphold the company’s integrity by acting ethically and safeguarding business and customer interests.
  • Perform additional tasks as requested by the Branch Manager.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Grade 12 certificate.
  • Valid, unendorsed Code 8 driver’s license (minimum of 2 years old).
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Fully bilingual with effective communication skills in English.
  • Ability to read maps.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills for strong face-to-face customer relations.
  • Flexible, self-motivated, honest, and highly responsible.
  • Neat and presentable.
  • Capable of handling pressure with good time management skills, demonstrating urgency and commitment.
