Overview:
The Boilermaker Apprenticeship focuses on metal fabrication, structural assembly, and maintenance of ship components. Apprentices will gain expertise in assembling and repairing marine structures.
Key Responsibilities:
-Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures.
-Work with steel, pipes, and ship hulls.
-Interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
-Perform cutting, shaping, and welding tasks.
Requirements:
–Grade 12 qualification (Mathematics and Science beneficial).
-Interest in structural fabrication and marine engineering.
-Ability to read technical schematics and welding diagrams.
