Minimum Requirements:
- Valid Code 10 driver’s license with PDP.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in English (spoken, written, and comprehension).
- Proficiency in one of the official South African languages, such as seSotho or isiZulu, is advantageous.
- A clean criminal record.
Responsibilities include:
- Attending to traffic and weather conditions to ensure passenger safety.
- Adhering to planned routes and schedules for timely departures and stops.
- Regularly inspecting vehicle safety features, including tires, brakes, and indicators.
- Transporting children and passengers to and from school safely.
- Observing all traffic regulations to guarantee students’ safe arrival at their destinations.
- Maintaining cleanliness and mechanical integrity of the bus.
- Ensuring students’ safety during boarding and disembarking.
