Overview:
GEOCAM ENERGY (PTY) LTD is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage and oversee financial transactions at its fuel depot in Tsabong. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and support the company’s financial health and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Ensure compliance with tax and statutory regulations.
- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
- Provide financial insights to support management decision-making.
Requirements and Skills:
- A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in accounting or finance roles.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
