Overview:

Clicks Hillview is looking to hire 10 Shop Assistants / Cashiers who are passionate about retail and committed to delivering excellent customer service. These team members will play a vital role in ensuring efficient point-of-sale operations, merchandising, and in-store service that supports the brand’s goal of being the customer’s first choice in health and beauty.


Key Responsibilities:

-Accurately process sales transactions at the point of sale (POS), ensuring speed and efficiency.

-Handle all cash and card transactions securely and accurately, including processing Clicks ClubCard rewards.

-Promote the Clicks ClubCard, encourage customer sign-ups, and meet participation targets.

-Inform customers about current promotions and special offers to boost sales and customer satisfaction.

-Offer professional, friendly, and helpful service while acting as a brand ambassador for Clicks.

-Perform general housekeeping duties and ensure the store is clean, tidy, and visually appealing.

-Assist with merchandising, stock replenishment, and ensuring shelves are correctly priced and faced.

-Maintain product knowledge, stay updated on new stock, promotions, and events.


Minimum Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • BGCSE (Botswana General Certificate of Secondary Education) or equivalent

Experience:

  • Experience in retail, FMCG, or cashiering is advantageous but not essential

Skills and Knowledge:

Knowledge of:

  • Basic mathematics
  • Stock management and merchandising principles
  • Customer service best practices

Skills:

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

-Strong customer orientation and problem-solving ability
