The Corporation is seeking a seasoned and strategic Human Resource Director to join its Executive Team at the Head Office in Gaborone. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified individual to shape and drive a corporation-wide HR strategy aligned with WUC’s overall strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
The Human Resource Director will lead the development and execution of the Corporation’s People Agenda. This includes, but is not limited to:
-Developing and implementing a comprehensive HR strategy aligned with corporate goals
-Leading Talent Acquisition, Succession Planning, and Performance Management initiatives
-Driving Learning and Development programs and optimizing ROI in staff training
-Managing Remuneration and Reward systems and Employee Wellness programs
-Overseeing Employee Relations and fostering a positive corporate culture
-Supporting change management initiatives and ensuring alignment with WUC’s values
-Monitoring and evaluating key performance indicators such as employee productivity and workforce plans

Qualifications and Experience
-A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Psychology, Human Resource Development, or a related field
-A postgraduate qualification in Business Administration or Management is an added advantage
-A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in Human Resource Management, with at least 6 years at Senior Management level
-Proven expertise in Organisation Design, HR Business Partnering, Recruitment, and Talent Management
