Are you a seasoned culinary professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for excellence in the kitchen? Cappuccinos Italian Grill in Gaborone is currently seeking a highly experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee and elevate our back-of-house operations.
Key Responsibilities:
-Manage and lead daily kitchen operations to ensure efficient workflow, cleanliness, and productivity.
-Supervise, train, and motivate kitchen staff to uphold high culinary and hygiene standards.
-Monitor food preparation and presentation to maintain consistency and quality.
-Ensure full compliance with food safety regulations and health standards.
-Oversee kitchen inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs to maintain profitability.
-Collaborate with chefs and management on menu planning and recipe development.
-Resolve any kitchen issues promptly and maintain a positive, solution-focused environment.
Requirements:
-A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a kitchen management or similar leadership role.
-Strong culinary background with hands-on knowledge of kitchen systems and food production.
-Excellent understanding of food safety regulations, kitchen protocols, and stock control.
-Proven leadership and staff development skills.
-Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and maintain attention to detail.
-Solid organizational and communication abilities.
