Overview:

FNB Botswana is currently recruiting for a Sales and Service Consultant to join their team in Gaborone. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and will thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role focuses on creating positive customer experiences, offering appropriate financial solutions, and promoting the use of digital and self-service channels, all while maintaining full compliance with banking policies and ethical standards.


Key Responsibilities:

-Provide outstanding service by understanding customer needs and offering tailored product solutions.

-Engage customers using FNB’s brand promise “How can we help you?” in every interaction.

-Ensure all dealings with customers are conducted ethically and in line with the Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles.

-Identify sales and cross-sell opportunities based on customer profiles and requirements.

-Promote and optimize the use of digital, eChannels, and self-service platforms.

-Adhere to all relevant processes, business guidelines, and risk policies when making decisions.

-Support initiatives aimed at cost containment and improving operational efficiency.

-Fulfil banking transactions accurately and exceed service benchmarks.

-Continuously strive to improve the customer journey and satisfaction through every point of contact.


    Requirements and Skills:

    • Relevant qualification or equivalent experience in a sales or customer service role
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Ability to interpret customer needs and recommend appropriate banking solutions
    • Ethical mindset and commitment to customer fairness
    • Proficiency in using digital platforms and e-banking systems
    • Ability to manage risk and follow compliance procedures
    • Sales-driven with a focus on service excellence
    • High attention to detail and accuracy under pressure
