Location: Qangwa and Surrounding Areas, Botswana

Overview

Qangwa Community Trust is inviting applications from suitably qualified individuals to fill five (5) temporary positions for Data Collectors. The role will involve conducting data collection within Qangwa and surrounding areas for a period of one week. A modest allowance will be provided.

Allowance

  • BWP 1,000.00 (One Thousand Pula)

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum of JC or BGCSE Certificate (must be able to read and write in English and Setswana).
  • Must be between the ages of 25 and 35 years.
  • Must be a Motswana (Botswana citizen).
  • Must be a resident of Qangwa.
  • Must be physically fit.
  • Must not indulge in alcohol or any drugs.

Skills and Competencies

  • Team-oriented and able to work collaboratively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within communities.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct data collection in Qangwa and surrounding villages.
  • Record data accurately and submit findings to supervisors.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Trust Office.

Selection Criteria

  • 2 Females and 3 Males will be selected.
  • Selection Areas: Qangwa (2), Qoshe (1), Magopa (1), and Dobe (1).

Additional Experience

  • Experience in data collection or community engagement is an added advantage.
