Overview
SPV Mining is hiring two Assistant Drilling Operators to support drilling operations on site. The successful candidates will assist in rig setup, rod handling, and core recovery, while ensuring adherence to safety protocols. This is a great opportunity for physically fit individuals with fieldwork experience and a strong work ethic to grow in the mining industry.
Key Responsibilities
-Assist with drilling rig setup, rod handling, and core recovery operations.
-Support the lead drilling team in carrying out daily drilling activities.
-Ensure adherence to safety protocols and site regulations.
-Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
-Work efficiently in remote, physically demanding environments.
Requirements and Skills
-Minimum of 3 years’ experience in drilling or fieldwork support.
-Basic knowledge of drilling processes, equipment, and safety procedures.
-Physically fit and capable of working in remote or challenging locations.
-A Cambridge Certificate or Technical training qualification is an added advantage.
-Strong team player with a willingness to learn and grow in the role.
