Overview:

Botswana Power Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technician – Substation Maintenance to join our team. The ideal candidate should be dynamic, results-driven, and customer-focused, with a strong commitment to delivering quality power solutions.

Responsibilities:

-Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on substation equipment.

-Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in substations.

-Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.

-Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.

-Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of substation components.

-Work closely with engineers and technicians to optimize substation performance.

-Respond to emergency maintenance and breakdowns.

Qualifications & Experience:

–Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

-Proven experience in substation maintenance within the power industry.

-Strong knowledge of electrical protection systems, transformers, and switchgear.

-Ability to work under pressure and in high-voltage environments.
