Position: Temporary Assistant Customer Service Officer – C3 (x12 Positions)
Location: Ngwato Land Board – Various Sub Land Boards
Closing Date: 25 April 2025


Overview:

The Assistant Customer Service Officer will be responsible for delivering efficient, courteous, and professional service to clients at the Land Board’s customer service centers. The role aims to enhance public satisfaction and the reputation of the institution.


Responsibilities:

-Handle and resolve client queries and provide necessary feedback.

-Deliver official messages and documents to relevant offices or individuals.

-Collect customer feedback and prepare summary reports.

-Issue forms, information leaflets, and application documents to clients.

-Supervise junior staff within the Customer Service Centre.

-Maintain the tidiness and functionality of the service area.

-Safeguard all tools, information, and equipment used in customer service.

-Assist applicants by checking forms for accuracy and completeness.

-Direct clients to relevant departments or officers.

-Interpret land policies and provide customer education.

-Perform any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.


    Requirements & Skills:

    • Qualifications: Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Experience: No prior experience required.
    • Skills:
      • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
      • Customer service orientation and professionalism
      • Ability to manage and resolve client issues promptly
      • Competency in basic computer operations and documentation
