Overview
The Lethlakeng District Council is inviting applications from suitably qualified Botswana citizens for the position of Cleaner II. The successful candidate will provide cleaning and support services within council schools, ensuring a safe, hygienic, and organized environment.
Key Responsibilities
-Clean administration offices, classrooms, toilets, and other rooms daily according to prescribed standards.
-Wash and iron linen used at schools.
-Maintain safe custody of cleaning materials and report shortages to the supervisor.
-Prepare and organize venues for meetings.
-Serve tea during meetings when required.
-Secure windows and doors and switch off utilities before leaving.
-Perform any other related duties as directed by management.
Requirements and Qualifications
–Minimum Qualification: Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE).
–Experience: Prior experience in cleaning roles is required.
–Personal Attributes: Good hygiene practices, reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions.
