Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Measurement Engineer / Quantity Surveyor to manage project costing, budgeting, valuations, and contract administration for ongoing civil and water infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and engineer’s estimates
- Monitor and control project costs, budgets, and progress claims
- Evaluate contractor claims and variations
- Assist in the procurement of materials and subcontractor services
- Prepare and update cash flow forecasts and cost tracking reports
- Conduct accurate site measurements and coordinate valuation processes
- Ensure contract compliance and adherence to pricing models and procurement standards
Minimum Requirements:
- BSc in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in civil and infrastructure projects
- Registered with ERB or QSRB (Quantity Surveyors Registration Council)
- Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and public procurement procedures
- Strong commercial insight, analytical thinking, and negotiation skills
