Position: Jumbo Operator / Trainer

Overview:
JCHX Mining Management Co., Ltd., a globally recognized underground mining contractor, is seeking a skilled Jumbo Operator / Trainer to join its high-performance team at the Zone 5 Mine Site. This role is vital in executing safe, productive drilling operations and mentoring the local team to build capacity and maintain high operational standards in a mechanized underground mining environment.
Key Responsibilities:
-Operate and drill development headings using mechanized jumbo equipment.
-Conduct pre-start and daily equipment inspections to ensure operational readiness.
-Assess ground conditions and identify hazards, taking corrective action as necessary.
-Perform bolting and mesh installation in line with safety protocols.
-Train, mentor, and upskill local operators through structured on-the-job training.
-Monitor equipment usage and provide feedback on performance and maintenance needs.
-Assist in managing consumables and drill rig inventory.
-Collaborate with the training department and site teams to deliver consistent skills development.
Requirements and Skills:
-Minimum 5 years of proven experience in high-speed, mechanized underground development.
-Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve development targets of 250+ meters per month.
-Strong understanding of underground ground support techniques and mining practices.
-Skilled in operating Sandvik DL421 or DL422 Jumbo drill rigs (or equivalent).
-Ability to work independently and coach team members effectively.
-Advanced communication skills in English (written and verbal).
-A passion for safety, teamwork, and developing others through mentorship.
