Position: Mine Surveyor
Location: Zone 5 Mine Site, between Maun and Sehithwa, Ngamiland, Botswana

Overview:
JCHX Mining Management Co., Ltd. is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Mine Surveyor to support underground mining operations at the Zone 5 Mine Site. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting daily underground surveys, managing mine plans, and providing accurate geospatial data to support mine design and development.

Key Responsibilities:

-Perform daily underground survey activities in alignment with the mine plan and operational schedules.

-Manage and update mine void scans using advanced survey tools and techniques.

-Maintain accurate control networks and regularly update mine spatial databases.

-Compile and report survey data, including pickups, CMS, and compliance tracking.

-Complete mark-ups and assist engineering teams with stope layouts and check surveys.

-Ensure quality assurance and control over all mine survey outputs.

-Collaborate with operations, technical services, and engineering departments to ensure alignment of survey data with mine plans.

Requirements and Skills:

-Proven experience in underground mine surveying.

-Diploma or Degree in Mine Surveying or Geomatics Engineering.

-Proficiency with surveying tools such as Leica instruments, Deswik, or similar survey software.

-Experience in producing stope CMS scans and maintaining underground control networks.

-Excellent spatial awareness and strong attention to detail.

-Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams.

-Commitment to safety and continuous improvement in mine planning processes.
