Location: Zone 5, Khoemacau Copper Mining (KCM), near Maun, Northwest Botswana

Overview

Barminco, a global leader in hard-rock underground mining services and part of the Perenti Group, is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Site Administrator to join its team at Khoemacau Copper Mining (KCM) in Botswana. This role is integral to supporting a safe and efficient work environment aligned with the company’s values of Safety, Integrity, and Excellence.

Responsibilities

-Assist the Project Manager in all administrative functions and processes

-Manage employee rosters and work calendars

-Coordinate accommodation and travel arrangements for employees, contractors, and visitors (on- and off-site)

-Handle travel movements and bookings, including flights for both expatriates and nationals

-Perform office management and general administrative tasks

-Manage data entry and records

-Assist with the preparation of reports such as month-end reports and petty cash

-Process employees’ expense claims

-Coordinate site access and induction bookings

-Book pre-entry medicals for new expatriate employees

-Act as the central contact for all employee-related off-site matters

-Organize transportation of mining materials

-Perform any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager

Requirements and Skills

-Diploma or Degree in Business Administration or related field

-Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a similar administrative role

-Ability to work independently and as part of a team

-Computer literacy and customer service skills

-Strong communication and interpretation skills

-Valid Manual Driver’s License (Class B)
