Overview

Markham, a leading menswear brand under the TFG Group, is looking for a highly organised and customer-focused Administration Controller to join our dynamic store team in Gaborone. The successful candidate will support store operations by managing administration, monitoring stock movement, ensuring compliance with processes, and delivering exceptional customer service in a vibrant fashion retail environment.


Key Responsibilities

-Assist the Store Manager with stock take, inventory control, and store administration

-Monitor stock movement and implement procedures to reduce losses and shrinkage

-Manage and maintain in-store filing and administrative systems

-Extract, analyse, and report on store turnover and stock performance

-Oversee and manage transactional activities, including POS and cash handling

-Ensure compliance with store systems, safety, and security protocols

-Process customer transactions and provide personalised assistance

-Promote customer loyalty programs and drive a customer-centric culture

-Support visual merchandising and maintain store housekeeping standards

-Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and store objectives

-Continuously develop product knowledge and selling skills

-Stay updated with the latest fashion trends


Requirements

  • BGCSE
  • Minimum of 3 years’ retail or administration experience
  • Computer literate with strong administrative skills
  • Strong planning and organisational abilities
  • Able to work under pressure and available for shift work
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer-focused with a passion for fashion and service excellence
  • High level of attention to detail and initiative
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
