Overview:

Markham, a leading men’s fashion brand under TFG, is seeking an Administration Controller to join its team in Gaborone. This is a key store-based role focused on ensuring accurate administration, stock management, and customer service excellence. The ideal candidate is passionate about retail operations and thrives in a fast-paced, fashion-forward environment.


Key Responsibilities:

-Support the Store Manager with stock take processes and administrative functions

-Monitor and analyse stock movement to identify variances and implement corrective actions

-Enforce risk management procedures to minimise shrinkage and stock loss

-Ensure full compliance with all administrative systems and reporting requirements

-Generate and interpret store reports to assist in turnover and stock analysis

-Maintain a well-organised in-store filing system

-Manage and monitor cash handling and transactional activities in line with set procedures

-Enforce safety and security protocols within the store

-Process POS transactions accurately

-Identify customer needs through effective communication and engagement

-Promote customer loyalty through cash rewards programmes

-Adhere to visual merchandising and housekeeping standards

-Work collaboratively with the team to meet sales targets and store goals

-Stay aligned with current fashion trends and product knowledge


Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

  • Botswana General Certificate of Secondary Education (BGCSE)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a retail or administrative role

  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills
  • Proficiency in computer systems and retail platforms
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
