Purpose:
The Cashier will be responsible for greeting customers, managing cash register operations, and assisting with transactions for items purchased in-store. This role also ensures compliance with store policies and customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
-Manage customer transactions using the cash register
-Scan items accurately and ensure correct pricing
-Deliver excellent customer service
-Inform customers about current sales and in-store promotions
-Process payments at the checkout counter
-Arrange and label products on display shelves
-Address and resolve customer complaints efficiently
-Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations
-Maintain store compliance with policies and procedures
Minimum Requirements & Experience:
-Form 5 (BGCSE)
-Certificate in Accounting
-Advanced customer service skills
-Flexible and able to work varied shifts
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-Patience and professionalism when dealing with customers
-Good knowledge of accounting principles
-Proven expertise in relevant industry or products
-Prior retail management experience will be an added advantage
