Overview:
MP Mining seeks an experienced and results-driven QCQA Coordinator to lead and manage quality assurance and quality control activities within our laboratory operations. This role is vital in ensuring compliance with ISO 17025 and driving continuous improvements in laboratory standards and performance.


Position Purpose:
The QCQA Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the laboratory’s quality system, managing audits, and ensuring accurate and reliable testing through strict compliance with international quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:

-Coordinate QC and QA activities across all laboratory sections.

-Develop, review, and maintain quality documentation including SOPs, work instructions, and protocols.

-Oversee laboratory proficiency testing, equipment calibration, and maintenance schedules.

-Plan, coordinate, and support internal and external audits for ISO 17025 and GLP compliance.

-Lead investigations into non-conformances, Out-of-Specification (OOS) incidents, and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs).

-Ensure full compliance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), ISO 17025, and relevant laboratory standards.

-Train laboratory personnel in QA procedures, documentation standards, and health and safety protocols.

-Continuously monitor laboratory quality systems and recommend process improvements.


Requirements:

-Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or HND in Metallurgical Assaying.

-Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a base metal analytical laboratory.

-Proven experience working in an accredited laboratory.

-Advanced training and practical application in ISO 17025 (understanding, auditing, and method validation).

-Strong background in quality control systems and audit preparedness.

-Excellent communication, leadership, and documentation skills.
