Overview:
Sekolo sa Anne-Stine is seeking highly motivated, experienced, and self-driven Physiotherapists to join its rehabilitation centres in Molepolole and Serowe. These centres, partly funded by the Ministry of Health, are dedicated to providing rehabilitation, stimulation, and advocacy for children living with disabilities. Preference will be given to candidates with experience working with people with disabilities.

Annual Salary: C1 Scale (P192,588 – P229,104)
Leave Entitlement: 30 working days per annum

Responsibilities:

-Provide rehabilitative services to children with disabilities.

-Advise on physiotherapy appliances and specifications.

-Requisition supplies for physiotherapy-related activities.

-Maintain and ensure the availability of equipment and necessary materials.

-Guide, motivate, and coach subordinates to improve service delivery.

-Assess and plan therapy for children referred to the centre.

-Refer clients to relevant specialists as needed (e.g., medical practitioners, orthopedic technicians, speech therapists, audiologists).

-Plan and implement community-based rehabilitation.

-Compile and submit relevant periodic reports.

-Undertake additional duties as necessary to meet service needs.

-Adhere to professional ethics and codes of conduct.

Requirements:

-Degree in Physiotherapy.

-Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience.

-Clean criminal record.

-Experience working with persons with disabilities (an added advantage).

–Must have an active practice license and be registered with the Botswana Health Professions Council.
