Position: Administration Controller (45hr) – American Swiss Galo


Overview

American Swiss, a leading TFG jewellery brand, is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Administration Controller to join our team at the Galo store in Francistown. This role requires strong administrative and retail skills, a passion for fashion, and the ability to drive compliance and operational efficiency within the store environment.


Responsibilities

-Assist the Store Manager with stock take and overall store administration

-Monitor and analyse stock movement

-Implement risk management procedures to reduce stock loss and shrinkage

-Ensure adherence to administrative, reporting, and system procedures

-Extract and interpret store reports related to turnover and stock performance

-Present relevant insights and data to the Store Manager

-Maintain and organise in-store filing systems

-Monitor and control cash and other transactional activities to ensure compliance

-Uphold in-store safety and security procedures

-Process customer transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system

-Identify customer needs through effective communication

-Promote customer loyalty programs

-Take initiative to enhance the customer experience

-Follow visual merchandising and housekeeping standards

-Continuously develop selling skills and product knowledge

-Work collaboratively within the team to meet sales targets and store goals

-Stay up to date with the latest fashion trends


Qualifications

  • BGCSE or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in retail or administration

Skills and Competencies

-Strong interest in fashion and customer service

-Good administrative and computer literacy skills

-Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment

-Professional communication skills

-Well-organised and detail-oriented

-Able to work independently and take initiative

-Available to work shifts

-Strong planning and organisational capabilities
