Job Overview
The Head of Facilities Management Services is responsible for leading and executing the Bank’s facilities management strategy. This includes ensuring all maintainable assets are operational, overseeing infrastructure projects, managing contracts, and maintaining compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Assets Management and Maintenance
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies for the Bank’s movable and immovable assets.
- Strategic Planning
- Establish and oversee short- and long-term strategic objectives for facilities management.
- Infrastructure Projects
- Collaborate with the Project Management Office to deliver capital and infrastructure projects.
- Contracts Management
- Provide technical advice for drafting contracts, analyzing performance, mitigating risks, and optimizing financial outcomes.
- Safety, Health & Environment
- Ensure plant and equipment meet health and safety standards and contractors comply with emergency procedures.
- Policies, Procedures, and Controls
- Develop and manage policies and procedures that guide facilities management operations.
- Administration
- Manage divisional functions and reporting to the Bank’s senior management.
- Financial Management
- Supervise preparation and consolidation of capital and recurrent budget estimates, and monitor budget performance.
- Compliance
- Ensure compliance with the Bank’s regulations and applicable laws.
- Space Planning
- Optimize infrastructure and space utilization for maximum efficiency.

Qualifications and Requirements
- Education
- Master’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Electrical/Mechanical/Construction Engineering, or related fields.
- Professional certification in Facilities Management is an added advantage.
- Experience
- Minimum of 7 years’ relevant work experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and engineering applications.
