Overview: CHASE Technologies is seeking a responsible and safety-conscious Code 10 Driver to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of safe and skillful driving, with experience in delivering materials and transporting them between various locations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the road, exploring new places, and interacting with a variety of people. Candidates aged between 30 and 50 are preferred.
Responsibilities:
-Ensure timely and efficient delivery of materials to designated locations, adhering strictly to all traffic laws and company safety regulations.
-Maintain a clean, well-maintained, and operational vehicle at all times.
-Represent CHASE Technologies positively and professionally in all interactions with customers and the public.
-Develop a thorough understanding of the local area to identify and follow the most efficient routes.
- Operate company vehicles for pickups and deliveries, assisting with the loading and unloading of goods as needed.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip safety and operations checklists and maintain accurate documentation.
- Utilize navigational technology, such as GPS, to determine and follow optimal routes.
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections and arrange for maintenance as necessary.
- Ensure vehicles are refueled and ready for use at all times.
Requirements:
- License: Valid Code 10 driver’s license with a clean driving record for at least one year.
- Experience: Proven experience driving in a professional capacity, including familiarity with GPS technology.
- Skills:
- Strong commitment to safety and excellent navigational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with the Gauteng area is essential.
