Overview
Pick n Pay is hiring for a variety of roles across departments in the Eastern Cape. These positions focus on delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining store standards, and supporting operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and offer assistance in locating products.
- Stock shelves, rotate products, and ensure displays meet merchandising standards.
- Check product quality, remove expired stock, and maintain cold chain compliance where applicable.
- Prevent wastage, shrinkage, and damages.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the store, service areas, and stockrooms.
- Operate equipment and maintain hygiene and safety standards.
- Respond courteously to customer queries and resolve complaints or escalate where needed.
- Promote products to boost sales.
- Adhere to pricing, labelling, and security procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer service orientation.
- Team player with a self-motivated mindset.
- Physically able to perform job duties (e.g., lifting, standing for extended periods).
- Relevant retail/service experience (advantageous but not always required).
