Overview:
The City of Johannesburg (CoJ), Group Finance Department, is offering an exciting internship opportunity within its Revenue Shared Services Centre (RSSC) for a period not exceeding 18 months. This internship provides hands-on experience in customer service, billing, and credit control in a dynamic municipal environment. Successful candidates will assist with revenue-related queries and maintain customer relationships while gaining valuable skills for future career growth.
Stipend:
- For candidates with a completed qualification (minimum 360 credits): R9,531.54 per month
- For students currently enrolled in a relevant qualification: R3,500.00 per month
Responsibilities:
-Log and process revenue account-related queries according to set operational procedures, resolving first-time queries when possible.
-Maintain and update electronically-based data and records.
-Adhere to the Performance Management Policy of the City of Johannesburg Municipality.
– Foster strong customer relationships with RSSC clients and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders.
-Utilize operational assets and resources efficiently and cost-effectively, in line with the City’s policies and procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 (NQF level 4) plus a relevant tertiary qualification at NQF level 6 or currently enrolled towards an NQF level 6 qualification.
- Must be a resident of the City of Johannesburg.
