The North West Department of Social Development is inviting qualified and interested candidates to apply for multiple Cleaner positions.

Minimum Requirements:

-Grade 10 or equivalent qualification.

-Adult education and training.

-At least one year of relevant experience.

-Knowledge of cleaning materials, equipment, and procedures.

  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment.
  • Strong organizational skills and interpersonal abilities.
  • Basic literacy (ability to read and write) and numeracy (ability to count).
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work with elderly individuals and possess physical strength.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide cleaning services such as sweeping, emptying dustbins, and maintaining offices and workshops (if applicable).
  • Monitor and report cleaning material stock levels.
  • Safeguard and properly use cleaning equipment.
  • Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety standards.
