Overview
Multiple companies, including Dis-Chem, are hiring full-time cleaners to maintain high hygiene standards in their stores across the country. Successful candidates will be responsible for cleaning designated store areas, shop floors, and communal spaces to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for customers and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain daily cleanliness in store areas before opening.
- Use correct cleaning products and equipment for specific tasks.
- Display wet floor signage when cleaning to ensure safety.
- Keep canteen and restrooms clean, stocked, and in good condition.
- Follow health and safety regulations in all cleaning activities.
- Provide friendly, professional assistance to customers when required.
Entry Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.
- Minimum of 6 months cleaning experience (advantageous).
- Good command of the English language.
- Basic customer service skills.
- Willingness to work shifts.
- Clear criminal record.
- South African citizenship.
