Responsibilities:

As a Driver and Storeman at Creative Leadership Solutions, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient deliveries and maintaining organized inventory management. Your key responsibilities include:

  1. Receiving and unpacking incoming stock.
  2. Safely and accurately packing stock for delivery.
  3. Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the warehouse.
  4. Assisting customers with loading orders.
  5. Conducting deliveries to customers promptly and safely.
  6. Loading and unloading stock from the vehicle.
  7. Verifying accuracy of stock according to delivery notes.
  8. Collecting orders from local suppliers.
  9. Performing general vehicle maintenance and upkeep.
  10. Communicating vehicle service and repair needs to the Office Coordinator.
  11. Handling all relevant paperwork and submitting it to the administration department.
  12. Assisting with stock take as needed.
  13. Undertaking any other related tasks on an ad hoc basis.

Location:
Brackenfell office, Cape Town, and other designated locations as required by the employer.

Reporting Relationships:
Reports to: Office Coordinator, Cape Town and Inventory and Warehouse Controller
Manages: None

Requirements:

Skills and Competencies:

  1. Strong organizational skills.
  2. Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  2. Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  3. Sense of urgency and strong time management skills.
  4. Self-driven with the ability to work independently and in a team.
  5. Flexibility to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  6. Proficiency in using common warehouse machinery and equipment.
  7. Capability to maintain systematic stock records and inventories.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Valid driver’s license (minimum EB).
  2. Valid PDP permit preferred.
  3. Must have own vehicle.
  4. Valid forklift operator’s license (the company will assist in obtaining the first license, employee then to ensure it is kept valid at all times).
  5. Educational level: High school (Matric Certificate) and/or any other relevant qualification.
  6. Previous experience in store or warehouse management.
  7. Knowledge of storekeeping practices and procedures.
