Introduction:
Phakisa Holdings is currently seeking a competent Code 14 Driver for the Centurion area.
Responsibilities:
- Safely navigate to designated destinations.
- Ensure the delivery vehicle is well-maintained and operational.
- Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the vehicle.
- Load, unload, inspect, and operate the delivery vehicle efficiently.
- Perform loading and unloading of products/items.
- Keep accurate records of vehicle maintenance, incidents, and fuel purchases.
- Deliver a diverse range of items to various addresses across different routes within Gauteng.
- Adhere to assigned routes and schedules.
- Maintain detailed delivery logs daily.
- Ensure all deliveries are signed for and received by the correct recipient.
- Represent the company professionally through responsible driving and appearance.
- Handle paperwork associated with each delivery.
- Responsible for cashing the petty cash cheque at the bank on a monthly basis.
- Demonstrate prior experience as a delivery driver.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid Code 14 driver’s license and permit.
- Matric certificate with proficiency in reading and writing English.
- Proven track record as a delivery driver.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Clean driving record.
