Community Development General Worker (50 Positions Available)

Requirements: The ideal candidate should possess a minimum Grade 12 qualification. (Additional qualifications in Community Development Work will be advantageous). Prior experience in Community Development Work, including voluntary involvement in community development projects and practices, is preferred.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies Required: The successful candidate must demonstrate:

• Basic understanding of government processes
• Strong interpersonal skills and sensitivity towards diverse communities
• Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Tactful and discreet approach in all actions

Key Responsibilities: The successful candidates will be tasked with the following responsibilities:

• Liaising, coordinating, mobilizing, informing, and assisting communities in accessing Government services
• Identifying and communicating community needs to relevant government structures
• Enhancing existing local governance structures and stakeholder activities for improved service delivery
• Compiling comprehensive reports on progress, issues addressed, actions taken, and outcomes
• Maintaining records of government-rendered services and the processes to access them
