Job Overview
CSG Resourcing (Pty) Ltd is seeking a dedicated and professional Gig Rig Driver with a valid Code 14 driver’s license to join our team in George. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving our promotional vehicles, ensuring the safety of the vehicle and its occupants, and performing branding activities at various retail locations. This role requires a tech-savvy individual who can efficiently use mobile apps for data collection and has excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Client Management and the Regional Manager to plan and execute promotions.
- Drive a Gig Rig (Toyota LDV with a 1.3-ton trailer) along with promoters to designated locations.
- Ensure the safety of the vehicle, occupants, equipment, and branding materials.
- Visit retail outlets on non-promotion days to handle branding and collect information as instructed by the Regional Manager. Training will be provided for using a mobile app to collect data from stores and manage branding activities.
Requirements
- Valid Code 14 driver’s license with PRDP.
- Minimum of 3 years’ driving experience with Code 14 vehicles, including truck and trailer, with verifiable references.
- Clean criminal record.
- Professional, presentable appearance.
- Energetic, friendly, and well-mannered.
- Proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing).
- Strong communication skills.
- Technologically adept, with knowledge of mobile applications.
- Age range: 25-35 years.
- Good health condition.
- Own reliable vehicle is essential.
- Experience in conducting trade visits to retail stores is an advantage.
- Experience using mobile phones for data collection is an advantage.
- Minimum qualification: Matric.

Compensation and Benefits
- Employment Type: Permanent with a 3-month probation period.
- Salary Package:
- Basic salary: R 10,000 per month.
- Vehicle allowance: R 2,000 per month.
- Cell phone allowance: R 600 per month.
- Fuel allowance: R 1,120 for every 8 days.
- Monthly incentive: R 2,000 for achieving 80% or more of the call target.
