Job Title: Bus Driver
Overview:

Responsibilities:
Learner Transportation:
-Drive a school bus on designated routes according to time schedules.
-Pick up and drop off students at designated stops.
-Transport students and teachers on field trips, planning routes and stops as needed.
-Maintain order and proper discipline among student passengers according to school policy.
General Worker Duties:
-Perform general maintenance and facility support tasks.
-Respond to maintenance requests and ensure facilities are well-maintained.
-Conduct plumbing and other maintenance tasks as required.
-Inform the facilities manager of any necessary repairs.
-Maintain and store maintenance tools.
-Support security and access control measures.
-Assist with traffic management.
-Perform garden maintenance tasks, including lawn and flower bed upkeep.
-Inform the facilities manager of gardening supply needs and maintain gardening tools.
Health and Safety:
- Conduct daily safety and operational inspections of the assigned vehicle.
- Report any necessary mechanical repairs.
- Refuel and service buses as needed, including checking tires and batteries.
- Perform periodic safety drills and complete required reports.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle to ensure safe operating conditions.
- Attend safety, first aid, and training meetings as required.
Record Keeping:
- Complete periodic mileage and other reports, including passenger counts.
Requirements:
- Valid Code 10 driver’s license.
- Professional Driving Permit (PDP) is essential.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar position, preferably with school bus driving experience.
- Presentable with good communication skills.
- Clear criminal record.
