Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled pick-ups and deliveries as instructed.
- Safely load all payload on route to prevent stock losses.
- Maintain and ensure the proper running order of company vehicles.
- Keep company vehicles clean and presentable.
- Complete daily vehicle checks, log sheets, and driver health checks accurately.
- Verify and sign off on correct stock loading per delivery against pick tickets and delivery notes.
- Fuel the truck and submit fuel purchase tickets to the supervisor.
- Assist with inventory as directed by the storeman/supervisor.
- Participate in staff orientation and training programs.
- Adhere to all Health and Safety protocols implemented by the company.
- Report all incidents promptly to the office and complete Incident Report forms.
- Assist with inventory management in the store.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Matric certificate (Grade 12)
- Valid Dangerous Goods Certificate (Hazchem)
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years driving experience.
- Valid Driver’s License – Code 10 with PrDP
