Responsibilities:
– Safely operate and maintain company vehicles, ensuring compliance with traffic regulations and company policies.
-Efficiently plan and execute delivery routes for timely product distribution to clients.
-Conduct pre-trip inspections, promptly reporting any vehicle issues.
-Securely load and unload goods, following proper handling protocols.
-Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain proof of delivery signatures from clients.
-Support warehouse operations by assisting with receiving, storing, and picking inventory.
-Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe, adhering to all safety guidelines.
-Assist with stocktaking, inventory control, and order preparation for delivery.
-Provide exceptional customer service and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
-Work independently and as part of a team to meet departmental objectives.
-Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
-Perform additional duties as assigned by Warehouse Management.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
-Valid Code 10 driver’s license.
-Minimum Matric certificate.
-At least 5 years of experience driving various vehicles.
-Previous experience in a warehouse setting.
-Knowledge of safe loading and unloading practices.
-Familiarity with basic stocktaking principles.
-Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
-Capacity to work autonomously and take initiative.
-Excellent time management and organizational skills.
-Physically capable of manual labor tasks.
-Demonstrated reliability and a positive work ethic.
