Company Description:
Europcar, a leading car rental company, is seeking a dedicated and responsible individual to join our Skuze Airport branch as a Driver: Light Duty. This is a permanent position where you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive quality service and vehicles that meet our high standards.
Responsibilities
-Clean the interior and exterior of vehicles to maintain our high standards.
-Conduct vehicle quality control, including identifying and reporting expired licenses and other non-conformities.
-Refuel vehicles and check tyre pressure, oil, water, and other fluids after each rental.
-Deliver vehicles to customers following our procedures.
-Handle vehicle check-ins according to company, quality control, and claims procedures.
-Maintain the cleanliness of the yard and surrounding areas.
-Uphold the integrity of the company by behaving ethically and safeguarding the assets and interests of both the business and our customers.
-Perform additional duties as requested.
Requirements
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant driving experience.
Qualifications:
- NQF Level 4 (Grade 12 or equivalent).
Skills:
- Valid, unendorsed Code 8 driver’s license (minimum 2 years old).
- Basic computer literacy.
- Ability to read a map.
- Willingness to work overtime, shifts, and weekends as required.
Competencies:
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for customer relations.
- Ability to handle pressure and manage time effectively.
- Team player with a strong sense of urgency and commitment.
