Overview:
Fairplay Hardware is seeking a dependable and hardworking Driver Assistant to join our team in Bochum, Limpopo. The successful candidate will assist in the efficient delivery of products to clients and customers, ensuring that all tasks are performed safely and in line with company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
-Assist the driver with loading and unloading company products.
-Help locate delivery destinations and navigate routes.
-Ensure all goods are securely packed and that the invoice matches the physical stock loaded.
-Maintain accurate delivery records and reports.
-Assist in obtaining customer signatures upon delivery.
-Report any delivery-related issues to senior staff promptly.
-Communicate effectively with customers to resolve any concerns or complaints.
-Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the delivery truck at all times.
-Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures during deliveries.
-Assist with unloading the truck at the end of each shift.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a hardware environment is preferred.
- A valid Code 10 driver’s license is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to commute or relocate to Jane Furse, Limpopo, is preferred.
