Job Title: Driver – CIT

Overview:

Fidelity Services Group is seeking dedicated and responsible individuals to join our team as Drivers in the Cash-in-Transit (CIT) division at our Parow, Worcester, and George branches. The primary purpose of this role is to transport crew members and custodians, ensuring the secure collection and delivery of clients’ money, along with providing proof of these transactions.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely collect and deliver clients’ funds, ensuring full responsibility and accountability.
  • Report any delays or issues to the Operations Manager immediately.
  • Maintain consistent radio contact with controllers during transportation.
  • Vigilantly monitor and report any suspicious activities or incidents.
  • Conduct vehicle audits and complete required checklists before and after trips.
  • Drive responsibly, adhering to all traffic regulations, and document any accidents or incidents that occur.

Requirements:

  • A clear criminal record is mandatory.
  • PSIRA accreditation with at least a Grade C qualification.
  • Cash in Transit (CIT) Certificate.
  • Firearm competency with at least a handgun qualification for business purposes.
  • A valid driver’s license with a minimum Code C1 and a valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the security industry or a similar role (experience with Fidelity Services Group is advantageous).
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain physical fitness.
